NEOQUARTET is a Polish string quartet focused on performing contemporary classical music. Members of NeoQuartet (Karolina Piątkowska-Nowicka – 1st Violin, Paweł Kapica – 2nd Violin, Michał Markiewicz – Viola, Krzysztof Pawłowski – Cello) are great enthusiasts of modern art, therefore they often combine contemporary classical music with visual arts, modern dance and electronics.
NeoQuartet`s aim is to collaborate with contemporary composers and to make their music familiar to the wider audience.
NeoQuartet is one of the most active Polish ensembles specializing in new music performance. The quartet’s repertoire includes the compositions by Steve Reich, George Crumb, Alfred Schnittke and Krzysztof Penderecki to name a few. Moreover, pieces by several young composers were premiered by this ensemble.
NeoQuartet Asia Tour 2018 is a series of concerts performed by NeoQuartet in South Korea, China and Japan. The tour will be a part of the international cultural programme celebrating the 100th anniversary of Poland’s regaining independence. The concerts’ programme will include the most outstanding works by Polish composers of 20th and 21st century: Witold Lutosławski, Krzysztof Penderecki, Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, Paweł Szymański and Andrzej Panufnik. During concerts in China NeoQuartet will be accompanied by Chinese pianist Dai Bo.

广西艺术学院钢琴系教师，先后毕业于中央音乐学院附中，巴黎高等音乐学院和法国国立布隆尼音乐学院职业演奏家大师班，曾获法国第十六届休斯·恩·勃利尔国际钢琴比赛金奖等多项奖项。在国内外举办了数十场钢琴独奏音乐会和钢琴协奏曲音乐会，参加广西各项重大文艺晚会及政要演出，多次出国交流演出。现为中国-东盟音乐大使，中国-东盟青少年钢琴大赛评委会执行主席，广西国际文化交流中心理事，广西音乐家协会会员，广西钢琴教育学会会员。
The professor of the Piano Department of Guangxi Arts Institute has graduated from the Middle School of Central Conservatory of Music, the Conservatoire supérieur de Paris, Dozens of concerts and concerts for piano solo and Piano Concerto have been held both at home and abroad, participating in various major literary and artistic parties and political performances in Guangxi, and many times to exchange performances abroad. Now it is the Chinese - ASEAN Music Ambassador, the executive chairman of the China - ASEAN juvenile Piano Competition Committee, the director of the Guangxi International Cultural Exchange Center。
