King Creole
One of Elvis' four movies of the 1950's, King Creole is considered by fans of the King to be one of, if not the, best of his performances. Before he started churning out wink-at-the-camera chick flicks, or even the thinly-veiled bio-pics of himself in his other early starring films, he goes dramatic as a high school student trying desperately to help his troubled family. And don't worry: he does sing “Love Me Tender.”
